Straighter Smiles At The Link Dental Surgery With Invisalign
The Link Dental Surgery is proud to be a partner of Invisalign, helping many patients achieve desirable smiles.
What is Invisalign?
The Invisalign™ system is an innovative teeth re-adjustment technique using made-to-measure, near-invisible aligners. The Invisalign system allows you to transform your smile discreetly and comfortably with virtually invisible removable braces. Invisalign aligners are transparent and custom-made to gradually straighten your teeth without using any metal wires or brackets. The aligners look like clear, flexible retainers and are removable, so you can take them out when eating or brushing your teeth.
How much does Invisalign cost?
The cost of Invisalign treatments vary and are determined by your specific needs including duration of treatment and the type of correction you are looking for. Our specialist team will discuss pricing with you upon your visit.
How long does the treatment take and what is the process?
Treatments generally takes 12 – 24 months (some longer), however, some patients can expect their new smile results in as little as 6 months.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to Invisalign treatment:
Step 1: Free consultation. At your free consultation one of our expert team members will examine you and decide whether Invisalign is a suitable option (a refundable booking fee applies that is refunded you once you have had your consultation regardless of whether you go ahead with the treatment or not).
Step 3: 3D imaging technology is used to transform your bite impressions into a custom-made series of clear and removable aligners. There may be as many as 48 in the series or as few as 12, depending on your requirements.
Step 4: On your next visit to us you will receive your first set of aligners.
Step 5: You’ll wear each set of the aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. You’ll need to visit your dentist every six weeks to check that your treatment is progressing as planned. The total treatment time averages from 12 to 18 months.
Step 6: Your treatment ends when you have worn each set of aligners. To help keep your bright new smile, you will wear retainers at night for six months, and then usually a few times a week as instructed by your dentist!
If you have been considering discreet straightening treatments for your teeth, Invisalign may be right for you.
